Species: Draco aqua coquere

The “Boiling Water Dragon”

Common Name: Fried Blood Leech

Notes: The blood leech lives in the boiling hot depths of the Red Sea. The algae within the water cakes onto its back and starts to cook, giving the blood leech a deep fried appearance as well as a replenishable farm of nutrients on its back. Detoxified fried blood leech algae is one of the most rare and expensive dishes on the market, and only the most masterful keepers can hope to capitalize on that market by venturing into the Red Sea.

HOT DAMN I DID IT

Species: Draco aqua carpio

The “Carp Dragon”

Common Name: Slickback Serpent

Notes: This not so threatening dragon is a biological wonder. The creature looks completely dysfunctional, yet it splashes about anyways. It is not uncommon to find a Slickback beached on northern shores. Its bodily oils make for good lamps and cooking oil.
