Cherry Bomb with Devil Eyes

So for the dozen or so followers I have across my profiles, you may be passively aware of my OC Aka. Well, small updates have happened since then to her character: First off, she is now of Hispanic descent. Second, her nickname is now Maya instead of Aka. As much as I love the name Aka, it unfortunately no longer fits her. Lastly, I’m playing around with the idea of her being an underground rapper/B-girl under the alias Cherry Bomb.

This isn’t the first time I’ve majorly revamped Maya’s character, and I doubt it’ll be the last, but I am really happy with the changes I’ve made recently. I hope you guys like it too!

Species: Draco aqua coquere

The “Boiling Water Dragon”

Common Name: Fried Blood Leech

Notes: The blood leech lives in the boiling hot depths of the Red Sea. The algae within the water cakes onto its back and starts to cook, giving the blood leech a deep fried appearance as well as a replenishable farm of nutrients on its back. Detoxified fried blood leech algae is one of the most rare and expensive dishes on the market, and only the most masterful keepers can hope to capitalize on that market by venturing into the Red Sea.

HOT DAMN I DID IT

Draco leviathan sanguis

The Blood Leviathan

Notes: For a time, no one knew how the Red Sea came to be. Like many wondrous dragon habitats, it’s origin does not seem naturally formed, and it’s origin cannot be explored in detail due to the aggressive dragons that inhabit it. Very few airships survive an expedition there, but those who due report that there may possibly be a dormant leviathan hidden within its waters. Like behemoths, leviathans are impossibly ancient and just as mysterious. The Blood Leviathan, as it is deemed, may very well be the origin of the crimson eye that gives the Cyclops continent its namesake.

Species: Draco homarus nigreos

The “Black Lobster Dragon”

Common Name: Shadow of the Red Sea

Notes: The Red Sea is a large basin of water tainted red by the algae and chemicals that thrive within it. This water is poisonous to most aquatic species, so the species unaffected eventually evolved into a completely unique ecosystem to spawn from the demonic waters. One such species would be the Black Lobster Dragon, a giant crustacean-like beast that lurks in the basin’s depths. It is said to be the most feared sea dragon to emerge from the Red Sea.

Species: Draco behemoth rubrum

The “Red Titan Dragon”

Common name: The Red Storm Dragon

Notes: The bane of sky ships everywhere, this behemoth class dragon rules the north seas. All dragon guilds know better than to cross its path.
